The Konza Technopolis Development Authority Bill (Draft)
The Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KOTDA), in conjunction with the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology has drafted the KOTDA Bill 2013 to enable the establishment of the Authority under an Act of Parliament.
The Draft Bill has undergone various revisions and comments from experts and is now ready for stakeholder engagement. This is in line with the requirements of Article 10 of the 2010 Kenya Constitution, which calls for public participation in all government legislative processes.
The public is invited to review THE DRAFT BILLand submit comments via the website or to email@example.com by August 4, 2013.

Hon Samuel Poghisio, Minister for Information and Communications has announced the appointment of Haron Nyakundi, Reuben Mutiso, Emma Miloyo and Rosemary Maundu as Directors of the Board of KOTDA. John Ngumi, an Investment Banker, will Chair the Authority.
The mission of the KOTDA is to ensure that Konza Techno City grows into a sustainable, world-class technology hub and a major economic driver for the nation, with a vibrant mix of businesses, workers, residents, and urban amenities.
His Excellency Hon. Mwai Kibaki officially launched Konza Techno City at a groundbreaking ceremony on January 23, 2013.
